Note

aldehydes

soft, a top note.

Synthetic molecules. Smell like clean laundry, hot iron, fresh snow. Defined Chanel No. 5 in 1921 and have been the 'sparkling' opener of perfumery ever since. Read as 'department store' to some, 'classic perfumery' to others. C-12 (MNA), C-11, C-10 are the most-used variants.
