Note

jasmine

soft, a heart note.

Two flowers wearing the same name. Sambac (asian) is greener, sharper, slightly tea-like. Grandiflorum (egyptian/indian) is heavier, indolic, almost narcotic at full bloom. Both read as 'femme fatale' if used alone. Most fragrances dilute jasmine with neroli or musk to soften it.
